Even Santa needs a campsite break.

Santa leans back in a folding chair with his boots on a stump and a mug close by. A small tent with festive lights completes a relaxed, vintage camping scene.

What is Cabin Thirteen?

The easy answer is a cabin out in the wilderness. The full answer is everything that makes you want to return.

It’s the campground your family knows by heart. The yearly escape to the lake when summer gets too hot. The road trip, the familiar stories, and the new ones you’ll bring home.

Cabin Thirteen is a love of nature—nights beneath the stars, well-worn trails, and paths you haven’t explored yet. It’s making time for the places you love and the people who make them special.

At its heart, Cabin Thirteen is about family, tradition, and the joy of being outside together. It’s something you look forward to, something you pass down, and something that becomes part of who you are.

I'm Brian. I make these shirts.

Brian, the founder, in uniform outside a tent in Iraq, 2003

Iraq, 2003 · the Arizona mountains with my son and Sarge

I grew up in Arizona back when kids stayed outside until the streetlights came on. My grandfather taught me to camp and to fish, and I never really came back indoors.

Out of high school I joined the Army — two years in Korea, then five as a computer technician for the Green Berets. I deployed three days after 9/11, and again for Iraq. I've been in tech ever since: servers, networking, and now AI.

Somewhere in all of that I realized I was taking life far too seriously. So these days I'm the one driving my son and our rescue pup, Sarge, up into the Arizona mountains, trying to hand him what my grandfather handed me.

That's all these shirts are for. Get outside. Quit taking yourself so seriously. And spend the time with your people while you've got it.

Thanks for being here.
